Production Assembler (Temporary)

Overview
The Production Assembler performs manual labor along a production line; operates and troubleshoots production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers; may perform minor repairs as necessary.
Primary Job Functions
-Operate production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers
-Troubleshoot production line machinery
-Responsible for component level quality assurance; make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications; reject product outside of specifications
-Operate within standard operating procedures
-Complete daily production logs
-Communicate with peers and manager related to line activities and issues
-Clean and maintain work area
-Other duties as assigned by manager
Education and Training
-High school diploma required; AA degree preferred
Experience
At least 1 year of assembly experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-Cross training on all related job functions
-Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required; manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
-Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
