Position Overview:
As an Employee Experience & Talent Generalist at New Hope Carolinas, you will be a pivotal member of our Employee Experience & Talent team, responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, workers' compensation, OSHA record-keeping, and compliance.
You will work closely with employees and management to address HR-related issues and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Assist employees with benefit inquiries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Workers' Compensation:
Manage and administer the company's workers' compensation program.
Coordinate with injured employees, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers to ensure proper claims processing.
OSHA Compliance:
Maintain and manage OSHA record-keeping, including the OSHA 300 log and associated reporting.
Ensure the workplace is compliant with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
Support the performance appraisal process and assist in addressing performance issues.
Collaborate with management to facilitate employee development and training.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate HR records and databases.
Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Generalist.
Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, workers' compensation regulations, and OSHA requirements.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred What We Offer:
