General Production Laborer / Mixer - 2nd shift only

We offer a 4 day work week and the hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:
30pm-2:
45am (with optional overtime available on some Fridays).
These are current shift hours and subject to change depending on workload.
We offer excellent benefits and opportunities for bonus and overtime.
No previous experience is necessary but a stable and verifiable work history is required.
Starting rate is $19.
00/hour, and raises are based on how quickly each employee learns their job.
Most employees are making $20/hour within the first six months.
With ongoing training and mastering the operation of different types of equipment, at the 2 year' mark the pay range can be $22.

Responsibilities:
Using formula sheet (think of a recipe card) list of ingredients required for your part of the process; start with the end product in mind in learning how to mix rubber Loading and unloading of ingredients from pallets, you need to be able to safely lift 50 lbs repetitively and move heavy items on a regular basis Operate the equipment that mixes our rubber products Package and label the completed rubber product Requirements:
Some post-secondary courses or on the job training in manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar industrial setting is preferred 1 year working in an industrial setting OR restaurant, hospitality, lawn care are all transferrable skills Very comfortable using a wide variety of tools, equipment, standing for prolonged periods of time Must be able to work in a non climate-controlled environment Ensure the quality of your work both visually and by using specific tools to test the quality Other Details Ideal for those who are looking for a career transition role; we are growing!
